The yellow highlighted rows are the common configurations for US and Japan. The green rows are the common ones for Europe and wherever the PAL television standard is used.
Notes:
1. The U version of products is just the optics and electronics, without a display body; you must mount it in your own assembly for use. There is only a small savings.
2. The B versions have the capability of running with or without a battery.  The battery is not supplied; it a camcorder style that clips into the belt-clip equipped adapter. Note the units without the battery capability are either the same price or actually more expensive. This makes no apparent sense whatsoever.
3. The D versions are field-sequential stereo, with one video input. The video must be generated with the left and right eye images in alternate frames.
4. The E versions accept PAL format composite video. PAL is common outside the US and Japan. Products without the E are NTSC compatible.
5.  All units are supplied with a power adapter for 100-240 volts, 50/60 Hz.  -100 units consume 12 watts.

RA-100 Ruggedizing Adapter

Any Sony HMD with a "B" in the model number can be fitted with our special ruggedizing adapter for $1400 additional cost.  If you have a display and would like us to retrofit the adapter, the price is $1475.
