I installed Upright and everything seemed OK, but the plug-in does not appear on the Filter menu. What do I do?

Upright doesn't appear on the Filter menu. It should be under File --> Automate. The rotation function that Upright uses is not supported for Filter plug-ins, but is supported for Automate plug-ins.

I installed Upright, but it doesn't appear on the Automate menu. What do I do?

Make sure that Photoshop™ is not running when the installation is done. Quit Photoshop and restart it. If that is not the problem, try running Setup.exe again and remove Upright. Then run Setup.exe one more time and re-install it. Also check the web site to see if a new version of the plug-in is available.

Why does Upright run for such a long time before finding an edge?

Upright does a lot of calculating to find an edge. Try selecting a smaller area around the edge to speed up the search process.

I selected a building edge, but the alignment doesn't look correct. What happened?

Perspective causes edges to converge to a vanishing point. Look for a horizontal edge near the horizon or a vertical edge near the middle of the picture.

Is Upright available for the Macintosh?

No, it is only available for the PC. All of the CGSD plug-ins work with inexpensive Adobe Photoshop Elements as well as the full versions of Photoshop. One possibility for business applications is to have a PC installation for occasional use.
